New House

Recently we just signed a contract to build our new home with Ivory Homes.  This will be our first time building a home so I'm very excited.  We have bought brand new car, brand new clothes, brand new everything but we have never bought a brand new home.  I'm excited to see what's the brand new home smell like.  It is fun but also overwhelming.  We have to pick out EVERYTHING ourselves.  From colors of exterior, cabinets, counter tops, floors, carpet, walls, etc.  Some of it are included in the package and some of it are upgrades which mean will be lots more money on top of what we already signed contract for.  The model we have chosen is a Hanover and we love it so much.  At first I thought the house is a little too big for 4 of us but now I don't think it's big at all.  I think it's a decent size and love to pieces of it.

So as planned we will have several meetings before the ground breaking.  First will be the color meeting where we will be able to choose the colors for everything and upgrades.  Second will be architecture meeting where we will decide if we would like to move walls, remove walls, etc.  Third will be a pre-constructional meeting.  This is an important meeting and also money meeting.  This is where we bring in the construction deposit.

Well, it sounds fun but also lots of work.  I will share with you as it comes to where the ground will be breaking and share the process of it.

Family California + Vegas vacation 2015

My aunt from Vietnam came to visit us last month and we took her to Vegas and California.  It was so much fun.  I feel kind of sad now that the trip is over.  I know in the future I can do more trips with my family again but would not have my aunt to go with us.  Ally did so well the entire trip, she slept through the whole ride and if not she would wakes up and smiles and laughs with Dylan.  Dylan enjoyed the vacation as much as Ally did or I could say he enjoyed it more.  He sang most of the time in the car and took short naps.  He loved to look out the window to see cars and the view.  All I have to say it was the most fun vacation we have ever had so far.

Ally's first birthday party

She is ONE.  It has been a year since this little lady born to this world.  I have to say, she is the most happiest baby on earth.  She would smile at anything and with anyone.  It takes a lot for her to cry and when she does we have to run really fast to her to see what happened because usually it's something really painful and hurt her a lot.  All I have to say is we love this baby Ally a lot and glad that she is ours.

Here are some of the pictures of the highlight of the party.  Here are the full album

Easter 2015

Beside egg hunting at daycare, we had some friends over with their daughter to do eggs coloring.  Dylan and Vivian had a blast and they loved it. Their personalities are so much alike.  Calm and not too violent with each other... well yet :)  Here are some of the photos we took that day.  Ally joined us for a little bit and then it was her nap time.  Oh well, next year.
