Ally's arrival 04.15.14

A day before (04.14.14) one of my friends gave birth to her son and I came to visit her.  I told her my plan was to have an induction on 4/18 because I could not wait any longer.  Ally must have heard me and my evil plan so she decided to come out on her own.  I lost my mucus plug at 7:00 am on 4/15 (Tuesday) and I was so nervous because I was hoping she would come at the end of that day at least or even better the next day.  I went to work thinking she would not come this early and go on with my day.  At work, I had contractions; it started with mild pain and increase as time goes by.  Around 1 pm after lunch contractions come every 15 minutes and it was very painful.  I decided to go home in case I could not drive any more.  After laying down on my bed it got better but only for a little bit.  Every time the contraction hits I could not speak so I think that I should come to the hospital to check out.  I took a fast shower and drove myself to the hospital (this was at 3:45 pm).  The nurse there checked me in and checked my dilation and said "you're at 6-7 cm".  I was like "are you serious?" because I was thinking they were going to send me home.  I hurried and text my husband "Ally is coming".  He was at work and had 2 more clients waiting for him.  He told me he had to send them home because of "emergency".

Fast forward to all the boring stuff and my Ally arrived at 6:41 pm.  She weighed 6 lbs and 18.5 in height. She is tiny and did not have a lot of hair like her brother Dylan.  Here are some of the pictures of her birth.

Only 5 more weeks left!!

Lately since tax season is not as busy as before and the weather is so nice.  My husband and I get to go home early to take Dylan out to enjoy the weather.  It's not super warm yet but it is so nice.  We also took him to Target to buy him a new toy which he likes it so much.

A day out with my son

I haven't updated or posted anything on my blog for awhile.  Tax season and with a belly's growing bigger are just so hard.  I want to do so much but my energy level is so low.  6 more weeks our family will add another bundle of joy.  How can I handle two kids under 2?  I hope I will survive and make it through.

25 weeks!

15 more weeks.  Time flies very fast.  I started to feel very bloated and having difficulties breathing lately.  Sleeping is also very uncomfortable, sometimes I wish I have that maternity pillow but then again my bed is full with a lot of stuff. I'm excited to see my baby girl.

22 weeks pregnant!

As of today, I am 22 weeks pregnant.  She's been moving and kicking a lot though not as strong yet.  So far I'm still not a big fan of Vietnamese food, can't eat a full meal without really gagging.  Her favorite food right now is fries and burger.  Or Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich and of course is soda.  I always have the craving for soda (coke or pepsi) every time I'm pregnant.  So far I bought her some newborn pants and some clothes.  Not much yet but I think I will wait until she's here so we can go shopping.

It's a GIRL!!

I should have asked for more ultrasound pictures but they didn't give me quite as much this time around.  Oh well, I will have a 3D ultrasound coming so hopefully the tech could give me a couple still pictures.

I'm excited that she is a she.  I get to have one of each and get to learn what the differences between a boy and girl.  I'm just a little nervous that it's a girl because I'm used to all boy but I'm happy that it's a girl.  I know, pregnancy hormones give me all of this dilemmas.

13 weeks with baby #2

Here is my belly at 13 weeks with baby number 2.  I have been busy with a toddler so I rarely have time to take pictures of my belly.  Dylan is a handful.  We will find out the gender in 7 weeks. I'm very excited.  My due date is 4/24/14. Hooray!!

Dylan Thien 10 months

Dylan is now 10 months old.  He loves to say "ba ba ba" all day long.  He can recognizes us now.  Every time he sees us, he gave us a big smile and gives out his hands for us to hold him.  I just love him more and more everyday.
